Lincoln Grand Prix (Weekend of Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May 2025)

Following on from the announcement that we will be hosting the Lincoln GP Sportive Cycle Ride on Saturday 10th May, below are additional details about what will be happening on campus during the event.
Campus Arrangements:
On Saturday morning, vehicle access to campus will be via the usual EXIT gate from 6:30am-9:30am, with the entrance gate reserved for cyclists departing at 8:00am. Car park attendants will manage the parking area throughout the day to reduce disruption. Normal car park use will resume after 9:30am.
Our campus carpark is expected to be at capacity very early in the morning, Yarborough Leisure Centre’s will be used for an overflow carpark. Access to the staff carpark will be unaffected.
The Sports Hall will host registration (6:00am-10:00am), Seminar Room 3 will serve as secure storage, and Seminar Rooms 1 & 2 in Hardy Building will be used for catering (11:00am-6:00pm). Extra portable toilets will be placed at the back of the Gym.
This event lets us show off our campus and join a major Lincoln sporting event. Thank you for your understanding about any short-term changes.
