Self-service facilities are available when the Library is open but the Service Desk is closed.
The Library will be closed from Friday 18th April to Monday 21st April (inclusive) and will re-open at 8.30am on Tuesday 22nd April 2025.

The Library will be closed on the May Bank Holidays:
Monday 5th May 2025 and Monday 26th May 2025.
The Library will close at 5.00pm on the 25th June 2025 (for building maintenance work)
The Library is in the Cornerstone Building, adjacent to the Skinner Building.
Current BGU students and BGU Staff: you will need your BGU University ID card to access the Cornerstone Building entrance (evenings and weekends), library barriers (at all times) and 24/7 IT Suite (at all times).
External Library Patrons: you can only access the Cornerstone Building entrance (and therefore the Library) Monday to Friday during office hours and will need your External Patron Library ID card to access the library barriers
If the library is closed books may be returned in the External Drop Box which is located where the covered walkway joins the library wall.
Returned items will be checked in off your Library Account when Library Staff are on duty.
