Opening Hours: 2024-25

Library opening hours are displayed as a colour-coded grid in the PDF below and are alternatively described in text boxes further down the page. 

The Library will be closed from 21st December 2024 to 5th January 2025 inclusive.

We will re-open at 8.30am on Monday 6th January 2025.

Self-service facilities are available when the Library is open but the Service Desk is closed.

The Library is in the Cornerstone Building, adjacent to the Skinner Building. 

Current BGU students and staff: you will need your university ID card to access the Cornerstone Building entrance (evenings and weekends), library barriers (at all times) and 24/7 IT Suite (at all times).

External Patrons: you can only access the Cornerstone Building entrance during office hours and will need your library ID card to access the library barriers

Visitors: you can only access the Cornerstone Building entrance during office hours but are welcome during the day by ringing the bell at the library barriers and signing in.

During the autumn the 24/7 IT Suite is sometimes booked for library orientation sessions; a sign on the door will indicate if this is the case.
