There are three ways BGU authors can avoid publishing charges and still make their research open access:
1. Deposit your manuscript in BGRO via green open access. Some publishers allow these to be made open access immediately, whilst for others an embargo period applies. More info here.
2. Publish in an open access journal that does not charge article processing charges (e.g., via diamond/platinum open access). More info here.
3. Publish your research in a journal covered by a one of BGU’s transformative agreements (gold route). More info here.
